The 2009 World Series of Poker has just begun and while we won't cover the event entirely, we certainly will pick out some fun stories for you to read, along with interesting possibilities and sweet deals relating to this world-famous poker event.
WSOP Gold Bracelet
One of those non-standard victories is that of a 39-year-old bartender named Andrew Cohen, who managed to obtain his first WSOP gold bracelet right at the beginning of the WSOP. Cohen participated in the WSOP Casino Employees event and managed to outlast all of the other players to collect $83,333, and more importantly the highly sought-after bracelet.
Cohen works at the Palms Casino inside the Nine Steakhouse and was planning to play a few low buy-in events, yet with his new win he might choose to buy in for a couple of more events. He was really excited with the win and saw a lifetime dream fulfilled when the bracelet was in his hands.
