Roulette Betting Systems - Invent Your Own
A number of popular betting systems are available for the avid roulette player. The most classical being the Martingale system, where you make “even” bets such as Red or Black and double your bet each time you lose. When you win, you go back to betting 1 unit.
Classic betting system for roulette
The Martingale system can be described by the number sequence 1-2-4-8-16-32… - the sizes of consecutive bets as long as you don’t win a roll.
In a similar system, called the Fibonacci system, you raise your bets at a slower rate, according to the sequence 1-1-2-3-5-8-13-21…
When you win, you cross out the two last numbers and bet the resulting lower number. For example, if you bet 8 and win, you cross out 8 and 5. Your next bet should then be 3 units.
How to create your own roulette betting system
There are a number of such systems that involve raising the bet after a loss and reducing it after a win. And you can easily invent your own roulette betting system simply by setting up an increasing number sequence and a bet size rule.
For example, say that you go for the Street Bet, that is, betting on three consecutive numbers such as 19-20-21. A win gives you back 12 times the bet.
Then, you could play a Street Bet Modified Fibonacci system, increasing your bets according to the Fibonacci sequence (see above) after, say, every six losses. I call this the Spinnernacci System.
Or you could bet Straight Up (on a single number) and raise the bet according to the number sequence 1-3-6-9-12-15… as soon as you lose 30 times in a row. I call this the Triple Spinner System (TSS).
Parenting a famous betting system
Like this you can go on for ever, inventing new betting systems and trying them out at the roulette table (or in online roulette). If you’re lucky they may stick in the public consciousness with your name attached to it.
You must understand though, that no matter what system you use, your odds will always be the same. There’s nothing you can do about that in the game of roulette.
Doesn’t that make you feel really safe?
