It's not something I'm into, but I will say this, Vegas can always use a bit of getting back to it's WTF roots. Way too serious lately a little absurd works for a 4 mile stretch with volcanoes, castles, and billboard pyramids.

I can see this doing ok in Vegas. It would help to lower the price a bit as $200 each is a bit pricey.

My only question is what are they going to do to the people with reservations when the "flight" is cancelled due to wind? Seeing how ofter the Sirens show gets called off due to wind, I can only imagine that the crane will have to be offline on windy days.

Though, that could attract a whole new market. Not just dinner at 160ft, but a thrill-ride dinner at 160ft. It'd be like Insanity on the Strat. serving appetizers.

This company made a swing through Florida - Orlando, Tampa, Miami - for two dinners a night per stop. Not a bad gimmick. If it doesn't work out in a city just roll on down the road to the next town with the 7 ton table. I wonder whenn the franchise sales start.

Oh boy another crane in the Vegas skyline. Wow Rex I thought you would be all over that. Dinner in the sky is nothing new, just new to Vegas. I do have a blog idea for you Rex if your interested. You have been bringing up customer service issues lately and since I work in customer service they interested me. I think poor quality and customer service go hand in hand. Well my issue with Vegas is the decade plus long food quality and buffet issues. Dozens of buffets and food establishments are rated horribly time and time again but yet they never try to get better and remain open. Why? We or they can't blame the economy because this has been going on for years. You would think these establishments would take all the negative feedback and run with it but they don't. Please help and do a blog on this. Thanks.
