I’ve heard Crack Alley mentioned often enough, just was curious what the ‘hood looked like. Some make it sound like the seventh circle of hell. Looks pretty much like any old, urban neighborhood that hasn’t been gentrified. I could find pockets around here that look the same. Not particularly the level of “scariness” the moniker “Crack Alley” evokes. Perhaps the place is only frightening if your name is Kaitlyn or Muffy? Or you walk around with popped collars?

Would be hard pressed to find a shopping center sign that lists Mexican, Asian and Kosher restaurants around here, however. Oh and a bagel place—can’t forget the bagels.-
