Even though the 2009 WSOP is still underway, it's not too early to start thinking about the 2010 WSOP.
Bodog's Mini Poker Series
Online poker players have the chance to win a seat worth $12,000 at next summer's WSOP for as little as $11, this courtesy of Bodog Poker and its Mini Poker Series.
The top prize is a seat at the 2010 WSOP (one of the first available anywhere!) to go along with a Team Bodog membership. Second and third place finishers will receive a Bodog Poker Open IV prize package that will give them free intro to every hosted event this autumn while fourth and fifth place finishers will win a seat at any Bodog Flight Club Semi-Final (valued at $270).
Sixth place through ninth place will get free entry to an awesome $100,000 Guaranteed Tournament, which are held every Sunday at 4PM (ET).
Kicking Off Friday July 3rd
The Mini Poker Series will kick off next Friday (July 3rd) and will consist of 13 different low buy-in events running on consecutive days until July 15th, followed by the semi-final and final events that will determine the eventual winner.
The events will start at 8:35 PM (ET) and the players that rank in the top 30% in each of the 13 events will earn tournament points that will rank them for the semi-final on July 21st. Players who have participated in at least seven preliminary events or who have finished between the 11th and 50th spot are also eligible for the semi-finals.
The final event - which will be held July 23rd - will consist of the top 18 semi-final players and the top 10 players from the preliminary event.
