Nothing magician David Blaine does is real magic - obviously. How could someone in his right state of mind believe that roulette and scratch cards actually are beatable games? But when watching the videos, you can't help to wonder how he does it…

David Blaine is known for all sorts of magic tricks and endurance tests. In his television special David Blaine: Street Magic on ABC he amazed the audience by turning coffee into money, removing a girl's teeth, pulling off - and then reattaching - chickens' heads, just to mention a few stunts.

Blaine also received a lot of attention for standing inside a block of ice for 63 hours, sitting in a Plexiglas case for 44 days and floating inside a water-filled tank for a whole week.

David Blaine and Casino Games

We're of course curious how this magician would do in a casino environment. There, it's hard to cheat, and if you manage to beat a game of roulette for instance, well, there must be magic involved…or extreme luck.

In this video David Blaine helps to ladies win at roulette. Is it fake one wonders.

However, the odds of getting five correct red-black bets in a row are 31 to 1 against. So if he made a few attempts, of course he would manage to do it eventualy.

Winning a large prize on a scratch card on the other hand would take more time…

Anyone who possessed these skills should really consider a professional gambling career.
