The 2009 WSOP broadcast schedule has been announced by ESPN and the first episodes will start airing July 28th on the self proclaimed "Worldwide Leader in Sports".
40th Anniversary No-Limit Hold'Em Event
Espn will air two episodes every Tuesday night at 8PM (ET) beginning July 28th with the Special 40th Anniversary No-Limit Hold'em Event ($40,000 buy-in) being the first to be shown. The WSOP Champions Invitational (August 4th) and the Ante Up For Africa Celebrity Charity Event (August 11th) are the other two special events that will be broadcasted.
No-Limit-Hold-Em World Championship
The coverage for the No-Limit Hold'Em World Championship will start on August 18th and concludes with a two-hour special episode on November 10th at 9PM (ET). This broadcast will feature the final table which is now known as the "November Nine".
If you are going to follow the WSOP on ESPN, keep in mind that they will no longer show the other No-Limit Hold'Em Tournaments that have lower buy-in amounts nor will they broadcast other games such as Omaha, H.O.R.S.E or Seven Card Stud.
