Full Tilt Poker, one of the biggest virtual poker rooms the web has to offer, hosts the fifteenth edition of the Full Tilt Online Poker Series (FTOPS). The FTOPS will last for a total of 12 days and the kick-off is today at 21:00 Eastern Time.
The FTOPS Events
The FTOPS is a well-known series of online poker events that will attract a shipload of online poker amateurs and a decent number of savvy online poker professionals. The FTOPS consists of 26 different events that pave the way up to the final 27th event: The Main Event.
The Buy-Ins
The buy-ins for the FTOPS Events vary from $200+$16 for the smaller events like Event #1 that will be played tonight at 21:00 ET, all the way up a $2,500+$120 buy-in for the 2-day NL Hold'em 6-max event that will start on Saturday the 20th of February.
Guaranteed Prizes
All events have a guaranteed prize pool so that the players are sure to win a decent prize for their hard-earned tickets. Tonight's event has a guaranteed prize pool of $1 million, the 2-day NL Hold'em 6-max event has a $2 million guaranteed prize pool, and the $500+$5 buy-in Main Event has a killer guaranteed prize pool of $2,500,000.
Satellite Challenge
Like with most of the modern day live and online tournaments there are countless opportunities to avoid paying the whole buy-in. Take part in one of the many satellite events hosted at Full Tilt Poker and try to make it all the way up to the final table of one of the FTOPS Events.
