Team PokerStars Pro
One of the most successful ways to build the PokerStars virtual and live 'community' is the selection of top professionals to represent the brand at prestigious poker events. A little while ago we announced the addition of two top professionals to Team PokerStars Pro.
Team PokerStars Online
The members of Team PokerStars Pro shine at various live poker events throughout the world, but this alone was not enough for the ambitious poker operator. The last two months were used to find and select a bunch of poker players to establish Team PokerStars Online.
In total more than 2,000 poker players applied for a sought-after place in the online poker team. The good people at PokerStars went through all these applications and made an ultimate selection of 23 players, resulting in a geographically diverse group that represents 18 different countries.
Among the Team PokerStars Online selection are some relatively familiar names like Steve 'Stevebets' Jacob, Randy 'nanonoko' Lew, and Anders 'Donald' Berg.
Track & Trace
Throughout the year 2010 PokerStars will add more players to the online team, and will add new lobby features so that team members can be easily tracked and followed. The 23 players come from different stakes and game types, and can be recognized by the PokerStars icon next to their avatar.
