Microgaming No Longer Accepts New U.S. Players

Friday, Nov 7, 2008 | By CasinoGuide

Another hard blow to the U.S. online gaming industry was just announced. Like it wasn't enough already! From November 10, Microgaming won't accept any new U.S. players

Just days after the announcement of the Kentucky gambling ban, Microgaming states that they will no longer sign any new players from USA. This includes a line of casinos - which prior to this has been open for Americans - Platinum Play, All Slots, Jackpot City, Lucky Nugget, and so on.

Luckily, those U.S. players who have active Microgaming accounts will be able to continue playing as normal. Also those who sign up before the 10th and make a first deposit will have legitimate accounts.

The only exception is Kentucky, where IP addresses will be blocked and no one will be able to access gambling sites of any kind.

So if you live in the U.S., and wish to play at a Microgaming casino in the future, sign up today. After the weekend it'll be too late.
