It's possible to beat the dealer in blackjack, clean the table and stack up the winnings. But you have to be a good card counter, and very few have managed to do it as skilfully as the MIT team. Now their story has hit the theatres in the film 21.

The MIT team (Massachusetts Institute of Technology) started as five regular, hard-working Harvard students who learned the art of card counting from Professor Micky Rosa (Kevin Spacey.)

In the film, Rosa takes the student Ben Campbell (Jim Stuart) under his wings and teaches him everything he knows, and Campbell is a really gifted card counter. But unfortunately, the casino industry doesn't love players who can beat them, so Campbell and his friends obviously find themselves in a heap of trouble.

21 has received very mixed reviews and the word cliché appears in many of them. Many film critics also have problems with main character Jim Stuart's accent. He's originally from England, and like someone said, "his accent is thrown across the United States."

Anyway, if you like blackjack and want to see a film about the game, this is your only choice.
