Phil Hellmuth Blows Up Again at WSOP 2008

Phil Hellmuth Blows Up Again at WSOP 2008

Monday, Dec 8, 2008 | By CasinoGuide

Many have come to Casino Guide to check out Phil Hellmuth's top five blow-ups. However, that list was made before this year's World Series of Poker - a tournament that gave us a couple of new candidates.

It seems to be a winning strategy to play sub-premium hands against Phil Hellmuth. For some reason, he can't understand that someone has something other hand than, say, A-K, A-Q, or a high pair when he raises and gets called. In consequence, this serves a great opportunity for his opponents to play creative starting hands.

Watch the clip below showing two pots in which Phil is up against inferior holdings, manages to lose and blows up again.

When Mike Matusow tells you that you're out of line, it's a small indication that you've gone too far. In this hand, the Poke Brat acts like a complete idiot. I'm not saying he is and idiot...but he acts like one. An idiot!

Do you think I'm overusing the word idiot? Well, I'm nothing compared to Mr. Hellmuth.
