Popular online poker room PKR, renowned for its highly animated 3D poker environment, hits the TV screens across 27 European countries. Three episodes of PKR TV starring professional cash game player Phil 'OMGClayAiken' Galfond will be broadcasted on The Poker Channel.
Branded Poker Rooms
PKR has initiated countless cross-media advertising campaigns throughout its relatively short span of existence. Only a short while ago PKR decided to design and implement two branded poker rooms in collaboration with popular men's magazines Nuts and Loaded.
Televised Poker Action
This time PKR grabs the poker community's attention by broadcasting three episodes of PKR TV live on The Poker Channel during the month March. These episodes will feature the highlights of the high stakes ring game action at PKR, with professional criticism of cash game legend Phil Galfond.
'OMGClayAiken'
Phil Galfond is a well-known poker player who is mainly known under his alias OMGClayAiken on the popular poker site Full Tilt Poker. Next to his online successes this young gun of poker cashed in six WSOP events and already has one WSOP championship bracelet secured in his closet.
Phil Galfond signed with PKR in March 2009 and now he is the one to comment on the high stakes action at the 3D poker site. Besides watching the games from the sidelines, Phil will be joining the action himself at the PKR poker tables.
PKR TV Episodes
The episodes will air from March 8 to March 21 on The Poker Channel across 27 European countries. In the UK and Ireland PKR TV can be watched from 22:00 to 23:00 (GMT) from Monday to Friday and from 00:00 to 01:00 in the weekends.
