Last month we heard about a Team PKR Pro adding a new player, but details were a bit sketchy. But we know now who the new PKR member is and it's a first for the roster.
Sofia Lovgren
The new addition is Sofia 'welllbet' Lovgren, a 20-year old Swedish professional and she's the first female player to join Team PKR Pro. Lovgren joined PKR in March 2008 and has become a regular at the poker room ever since.
"It's a pleasure to be the first female on Team PKR Pro," said the Gothenburg native. "For my online poker, I have a clear goal; to double my cash game bankroll this year. You will see me grinding at the tables, feeding on the fish."
PKR also expressed their happiness to have Lovgren on the team. Said Erika Schwartz, Marketing Manager for PKR: "It's fantastic to have Sofia on board. She is a top cash player with a lot of potential. We think she can go far and this is only the beginning. Keep your eye on this girl for big things in the future."

For now, Lovgren will join the other Team PKR members and start participating in live events, promote the brand and create content for both the PKR.com website and the PKR online channel.
