After recently having celebrated their 40 billionth poker hand, Poker Stars has added three more players to Team PokerStars Online. This brings the total of sponsored players to 26.
A Talented Trio
First PokerStars added Dusty 'Leatherass' Schmidt to the group. Then they followed by bringing in two more players, Denys 'diatty' Shcherbakov (Ukraine) and Georg 'Jorj95' Lind (U.S.A). The addition of the trio brings Team PokerStars Online to 26 highly skilled players.
SuperNova & SuperNova Elite
Shcherbakov has been playing at PokerStars since 2005 and in the meantime, he has earned 'SuperNova' status. The Ukranian is now known as one of the best poker players that his country has to offer.
Lind took a different path to success. He started playing poker at local land-based casinos and has made two final tables at the World Championship of Online Poker. Lind has also earned 'SuperNova Elite' status by piling up over 3 million points in 2008.
As a member of Team PokerStars, they will participate in online tournaments and also represent the poker giants at land-based events.
